Ruthless Ruth aka Ruth Lapointe is a high-energy folk-pop singer-songwriter specializing in edgy originals and classic cover songs. 

Original songs from such as  "Winnebago" and "On the Road" reference life while growing up in small town Iowa. 

Other originals such as "I'll Creep on You (Hope you don't mind)" and "Sometimes I wear slacks," which Ruth describes as  "female-empowerment anthems," promote women who go against gender stereotypes in their romantic relationships. 

Ruthless Ruth has performed on stages ranging from free shows on the street corners of Iowa City to entertaining thousands while performing during RAGBRAI events. 

There is no admission fee for this cozy after-work show.
