Classic country and roots rock and roll combine to create Grand Glad’s unique sound. The Duluth-based Americana singer-songwriter says he’s inspired by down-home, storytelling artists like John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Uncle Tupelo, and more.
His first single “Dancing at the VFW” from A Place No One Belongs was featured as Song of the Day on 89.3 The Current in 2019. The ambling, acoustic single highlights lead singer Glad’s buoyant warble, evoking warm nostalgia for simpler days. Grant is currently hard at work on a new album to be titled "One Man's Story" which will do exactly as the title says, tell one man's life story over the course of 9 brand new songs. You can hear the singles "Gunpowder at Dawn" and "When It's Gonna End" on streaming services everywhere.
No admission fee.
