Des Moines-based blues/folk/indi-pop singer-songwriter Nicholas Neibauer makes a triumphant return to his hometown with a rare north Iowa live show this July. Performing since 2013, Nicholas says he has a wide range of inspirations, from old school musicians like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Van Morrison, and Paul Simon as well as contemporary musicians such as Ryan Adams, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Jack White and Issac Brock (Modest Mouse). Joining him for the Fat Hill gig will be Sean Bremhorst, whose jazz background and thoughtful harmonies meld with Nicholas' acoustic finger picking and bluesy vocals to create a truly unique sound. No admission fee.
